Located 3.2 km NE of Old Ridge and 5.39 km NW of Oak Bay: Saint David Parish, Charlotte County: settled about 1800: also called Cape Ann for settlers from Cape Ann, Massachusetts: formerly known as Clindenin Ridge for David Clindenin, David Clindenin Jr. and Robert Clindenin, who were Loyalist settlers here: also called Wentworth Plantation for Sir John Wentworth, (1737-1820), surveyor-general of the king's woods and lieutenant-governor of Nova Scotia.
