Located 5.7 km NNW of Upper Pokemouche: Caraquet Parish, Gloucester County: Hubert Blanchard, Joseph Blanchard, Luc Blanchard and Daniel Blanchard were early settlers here: PO 1886-1970 with Luc Blanchard as postmaster: in 1898 Blanchard Settlement was a farming settlement with a population of 75.
