Located on McQuade Brook, 4.27 km WNW of Evangeline: Moncton Parish, Westmorland County: settled in 1835 by immigrants from Scotland and Cape Breton: PO 1867-1934: in 1898 Scotch Settlement was a siding on the Moncton and Buctouche Railway and a farming and lumbering settlement with 1 post office, 1 sawmill and a population of 75.
