Located 1.29 km SW of Killams Mills, on the road to Kinnear Settlement: Salisbury Parish, Westmorland County: settled by Moses Steeves and Bamford Steeves about 1836: included the community of Head of Ridge: PO Head of Ridge 1861-1872: PO Steeves Settlement 1872-1929: in 1871 it had a population of 125: in 1898 Steeves Settlement was a farming settlement with 1 post office, 1 church and a population of 75.
