Description
Located on N bank of the Northwest Miramichi River, 6.33 km W of Northwest Bridge, on the road to Whitney: Northesk Parish, Northumberland County: PO 1882-1954 with Robert Adam as first postmaster: in 1898 Strathadam was a farming, lumbering and fishing settlement with 2 churches and a population of about 150: formerly called Rogersville for several local Rogers families.
