Located on E side of the St. John River, 6.78 km NW of Oromocto and 11.69 km SE of Fredericton: Maugerville Parish, Sunbury County: PO 1858 -1915: in 1866 Upper Maugerville was a farming community with 40 families: in 1871 it had a population of 150: in 1898 Upper Maugerville had 1 post office, 1 store and a population of 100.
