Located 5.7 km SSW of Campbellton, on the road to Maltais: Addington Parish, Restigouche County: first called Seven Mile Ridge: PO 1896-1918: in 1898 Seven Mile Ridge was a farming and lumbering settlement with 1 sawmill, 1 church and a population of 350: renamed for Reverend L. d' Amour, mission priest from 1906-1907: PO Val-d'Amour from 1918.
