Located 5.53 km WSW of Greenwich Hill: Westfield Parish, Kings County: first called Hightle's Corner for James Hightle: renamed Cheyne for Robert Cheyne who settled here in 1843: PO Cheney Settlement 1885-1915: in 1904 Cheyne Settlement was a farming community with 1 post office, 1 church and a population of 90: abandoned about 1940.
