Located on the Chaleur Bay, 2.49 km E of Jacquet River: Durham Parish, Restigouche County: PO Armstrong's Brook 1857-1982: in 1866 Armstrong Brook was a farming community with approximately 40 resident families, including 5 Ultican families: in 1871 the village and surrounding district had a population of 200: in 1898 Armstrong Brook had 1 post office and a population of 100: PO Armstrong Brook from 1967: became part of the village of Belledune.
