Petition of James McKinnon, John Ferguson, and 31 others emigrants from Scotland setting forth sundry grievances and wrongs suffered by them from the Nova Scotia and New Brunswick Land Company [sic]…. – January 1838. – 14 pp. of textual records. L. A. Wilmot, a member of the House of Assembly for York County, presented this petition to the House of Assembly on 10 January 1838. It was referred to a select committee to investigate and report to the House. The title continues: and representing their destitute condition and praying for relief in the premises.
