Cambridge from 1860: in 1866 Cambridge was a farming community with about 65 families, including 7 Black and 5 Wilson families: in 1871 it had a population of 150: in 1898 Cambridge had 1 post office, 1 store, 1 hotel, 1 mill, 1 church and a population of 150: Cambridge-Narrows was incorporated as a village in 1966.
