Northumberland County: named for William Nordin: PO 1905-1968: formerly called Rosebank by Mr. Abrams, a shipbuilder, who planted rosebushes on the bank beside his home: in 1866 Rosebank was a farming community with approximately 15 resident families: in 1871 Rosebank had a population of 50: Nordin became part of Douglastown, and then the city of
Miramichi.
