Biographical Sketch / Administrative History</ br>"Ancestral Roots" was a column featured in the Irish newspaper, Impartial Reporter, in 1985, and probably before and after that date.  The column included information on Irish families that had immigrated to other parts of the globe, including New Brunswick.

Scope and Content</ br>This collection consists of clippings of four different "Ancestral Roots" columns or parts of columns, that contain information on the McGoldrick and McCann families that emigrated from Ireland to Saint John, New Brunswick in the 1840s, and also on the families of James Richard Magee, William James Howe, and [  ] Kerr.
