Son John PAYSON land in Parish of Wakefield, the remaining part of my Grant of Land, lying between lands owned by my son Rufus PAYSON and son-in-law Edward KERMOTT, 130 acres, and a set of Blacksmith tools. Son Guy Carleton PAYSON £50. Son Edward PAYSON land and dwelling in Fredericton at his mother's death. Daughters Sophia SNOW and Elizabeth FISHER each £25. Daughters Emma MORRISON and Emmila KERMOTT each 5 shillings. Sons Rufus, Guy Carleton, Abihud, Ephraim Holland, John and Edward and daughters Sophia SNOW, Abigail RISTEEN and Elizabeth FISHER residue of estate. Wife Abigail PAYSON, friend Peter FISHER and son Edward executors. Witnesses: Thomas BARKER, Ebenezer AVERY, John BLAIR. Will read 12 January 1824 in presence of the widow, Mrs. RISTEEN, John PAYSON, Edward PAYSON, son-in-law John RISTEEN, Ebenezer AVERY and Peter FISHER. Son Prince Edward PAYSON, known as Edward PAYSON originally declined to act. On 31 August 1824 Prince Edward PAYSON "known as Edward PAYSON" was authorized to act as an executor with Abigail PAYSON and Peter FISHER.
