Abstract Parish of Waterborough, Queens County. Will dated 16 June 1831, proved 5 October 1831. Son Andrew BARTON Lot 28 where I now live "formerly granted to Roger," Lot 2 adjoining land owned by Jane BARTON, a widow, on the northeast side of Grand Lake and Lot [10] on the Hard Wood Ridge, together with all Debts owing to me and all Property, Cattle &c that I am in possession off(sic) provided he bring up all the small children. When youngest child comes of age estate to be divided as follows: daughter Rachel 5 shillings; son Andrew two shares; son Richard one share; daughter Jerusha one share; daughter Mary one half share; daughter Martha one half share; daughter Matilda one half share; daughter Rhoda Ann one half share; daughter Miriam one half share, and son John one share. Son Andrew and my nephew Andrew BARTON executors. Witnesses: Joseph BARTON, Henry J. THORN. Inventory, dated 27 September 1831, valued at £574 by Joseph BARTON and Peters COX.
