Abstract Parish of St. Martins, St. John County. Will dated 23 July 1832, proved 18 August 1832. Estate to wife Sarah while widow for the support of herself and the children. Each child £10 when of age and wife £10 annually for life. When youngest child is of age estate to be divided, sons to have an equal share, daughters to each have a share equal to one-fourth of a son's share. Wife Sarah BROWN, friend Ebenezer VAUGHAN, sons John and Nelson BROWN executors. Witnesses: Philip MOSHER Senior, Philip McHUGH, Ebenezer BROWN. Inventory, dated 14 August 1832, valued at £1,427 by Philip MOSHER and James SWIM included five-eighths of the brig "impror(sic)" ("Emperor" ?) valued at £625.
