Abstract Parish of Burton, Sunbury County, Gentleman. Will dated 13 December 1816, proved 1 January 1817. (Also appears as "Zachariah BROWNE" and "Zachariah BROWN" in Record Book A, pages 246-251.) Son John Skidmore BROWN Lot 3 in Burton where he now lives, purchased from Joseph HOWLING. Son Zacariah Barnard BROWN Lot 5 granted me by Government and Lot 6 purchased from Hugh JOHNSTON Esq., and a lot at the rear of the Maugerville Grant. Grandson Zachariah Barnard BROWN lower half of Lot 7 in Burton. Sons John Skidmore BROWN and Zachariah Barnard BROWN and friend Gabriel DeVEBER executors. Witnesses: Martha Brown HOLLY, William C. BROWN, John S. BROWN. Will bears a notation dated 13 December 1816, certifying a minor alteration, witnessed by Shadrach HOLLY, Annis BROWN and Ammon HUBBELL.
