Abstract Bathurst, Gloucester County, Merchant. Intestate. Administration granted 11 November 1833 to Adam D. SHIRREFF. Fellow bondsmen Leonard HOWLETT and George TAYLOR, all of Mirimachi, Northumberland County. Petition, dated 1 November 1833, by deceased's mother, Jane HUNTER, his brother William HUNTER, mariner, his sister Agnes STAYNOR and her husband Ebenezer STAYNOR, all of Halifax, Nova Scotia, renounced right of administration in favour of Adam D. SHIRRAFF of Chatham, merchant and brother-in-law of the deceased. Adam D. SHIRREFF deposed that his wife Jane was sister of deceased and the only relative residing in this Province.
