Résumé Parish of Gagetown, Queens County, Farmer. Will dated 5 July 1830, proved 29 July 1830. Youngest son Benjamin the homestead, consisting of Lots 3, 4, 7 and 8 in Block F containing one acre each, together with the six acres of Block G and the upper or northern half of Block L which I now own in Gagetown, reserving to son Daniel the privilege of occupying the lower flat of my dwelling house during his life. Daughter Rebecca YEAMANS, who is now living apart from her husband, for her protection, the common use of the upper part of the said dwelling House for life. Youngest daughter Rhoda the common use of the upper part of the house until married. Son Daniel BABBIT the upper half of Block 8 for life and at his decease to his daughters Mary and Ann. Grandson Daniel BABBIT, youngest son of my son David BABBIT, the remaining half of Block 8. My son David BABBIT to have a joint benefit in the same during his life. Grandson Thomas BABBIT, son of Thomas BABBIT, the whole of Block 10 when he comes of age. Son Samuel BABBIT the lower half of Block L containing four acres. Son Elkana BABBIT the lower half of Block I. Son Henry BABBIT the upper half of Block I. Youngest daughter Rhoda BABBIT the upper half of Block K containing four acres. Grandchildren all of the eight acre Block 6 thus:— Jacob TILLEY, son of George TILLEY, Lot 1; John T. BABBIT, son of Daniel BABBIT, Lot 2; William BABBIT, son of Henry BABBIT, Lot 3; Charles J. BROWN, son of James P. BROWN, Lot 4; the infant and now youngest son of Samuel BABBIT, Lot 5; Henry BABBIT, son of Elkana BABBIT, Lot 6; George W. CROMWELL, son of Henry CROMWELL, Lot 7; and Richard P. BABBIT, son of David BABBIT, Lot 8. Son-in-law George TILLEY shall have the care and use of these lots until my grandchildren reach age 21. Residue of estate to be sold and divided among my daughters Rebecca YEAMANS, Hannah SMITH, Phoebe FOWLER, Mary TILLEY, Mahala CROMWELL and Ann BROWN. Son Samuel BABBIT and grandson Daniel S. SMITH executors. Witnesses: Rev. Samuel R. CLARKE, Harry PETERS, Samuel George ANDREWS. Inventory, dated 15 July 1830, valued at £405 by John MacDONALD Esq., Robert DINGEE and Joseph WATSON.
