Résumé Parish of Hampton, Kings County, Farmer. Will dated 3 September 1834, proved 23 September 1834. John BAIRD and wife Mary BAIRD, my daughter, each 10 shillings and the use of the farm now in their possession for life. Grandson William BAIRD the said farm, £6 to be paid to my grand daughter Elizabeth DALEY (as "Elizabeth RILEY" in Record Book C, page 65). Grandchildren, the sons and daughters of John and Ann DENISTON £44 to be divided among them. Son Joseph one pound and the use, during his life, of the farm near the foot of the North Stream of the Hammond River consisting of two Grants from the Crown, one of 500 acres and one of 11 acres adjoining land of Jonathan TITUS and William GREEN. Grandson William BARNES, eldest son of my son Joseph, the said farm. John [DENISTON] and his wife Ann, my daughter, 10 shillings. Edward RILEY 5 shillings. Son Thomas £100. Son John £150. Joshua UPHAM and Jabez UPHAM executors. Witnesses: Richard BURNS, William TWEEDDALE, George C. BURN. (The first and third witnesses' signatures are very plain, but they are named in probate documents as "Richard BARNES" and "George BARNES".) Inventory, dated 20 September 1834, valued at £650 by Richard BURN, Andrew SHERWOOD and Alexander KILPATRICK.
