Parish of Hopewell, Westmorland County. Will dated 10 August 1800, evidently signed 25 October 1800, proved 24 July 1810. To William DANIELS Junior a grant of land beginning at HAYWARD's westerly line . . . . easterly to Peter WICKWIRE's westerly line . . . "that is to say take all the Back lands of Hayward, Dollis and James MARTIN's Rights." To second son Joseph another grant of land beginning at Mr. TAKEL's east line, running easterly by the bay to east end of Indian Island . . . etc. To John DANIELS and Asa DANIELS jointly their upland. All the marsh land between Joseph's 40 acre lot that he bought from George BASS and his line at the east end of Indian Island to be equally divided between William, John and Asa. A grant of woodland "lying of Mrs. McALMAN and James CALKINS wright to the back End of thier land" to be equally divided between William, Joseph, John and Asa DANIELS. Movable estate to be divided between John, Dinnis, Elizabeth Ann (may be two individuals, Elizabeth and Ann), Sarah and Olive. Land to John and Asa after the decease of my wife Marther "with whoom I now live they provideing all things neceserey for her comfort during her life." Sons John and Asa DANIELS executors. Witnesses: Duncan REED, James REED, Gilfred REED. Inventory, filed 24 July 1810, valued at £1,124 by the executors.
