Résumé Parish of Sackville, Westmorland County, Esquire. Will dated 9 July 1816, proved 25 August 1817. To wife the rooms we now occupy in the house for life and all my household furniture. To Charles DIXON, Edward DIXON and Rufus SMITH £5 in trust "to be paid to Cleaveland at their discretion." To Susanah BULMER, Elizabeth SMITH, Martha WILSON and to the children of the late Ruth ROACH (their mother's share) the residue of my personal estate. Son Charles the land he now occupies on the Island. Son Edward the land he now occupies on the Island, he to pay his brother William C. £50 towards building a house. Son William C. all the woodland on said Island, beginning at Joseph RICHARDSON's and continuing to Thomas BOWSER's, with about 25 acres of the Cow pasture and half of 94 acres of marsh on the Island marsh which he and his brother Edward are to divide. Sons Charles, Edward and William C. all the wilderness or other lands belonging to me. Sons Charles and William C. each to pay my wife £7 10s. annually during her life and son Edward to pay my wife £15 annually, a total of £30 annually in lieu of her right of dower. Sons Charles DIXON and Edward DIXON Esq., both of Sackville, and Rufus SMITH Esq. of Westmorland executors. Witnesses: Silas CRANE Junr., William CRANE Junr., Mansfield CORNWELL. Accounting of estate valued the real estate given to Charles, Edward and William DIXON at £5,522, listed legacies of £107 12s. 7d. each to Mrs. BULMER, Mrs. SMITH and Mrs. WILSON and £17 18s. 9d. each to Mrs CRANE, Charles D. ROACH, Mrs. GORDON, Thomas ROACH Junr., Edward ROACH and John ROACH.
