Entire estate in trust to William and John DONALDSON, at present of New Brunswick, orphan sons of my late brother Alexander DONALDSON of [Aldroughty], and William DONALDSON, or failing him, his next oldest brother, sons to my brother James DONALDSON, at present [Factor] to the Honble. Thos. [MANLE] Esq. near Dundee, and William INNES, at present in the study of the law at Edinburgh, or failing him, to his next eldest brother, sons to John INNES Esq. of Black [hills] by my late sister Helen INNES, and appoint William and John DONALDSON and William DONALDSON [and] his brother, or in their absence, Hugh JOHNSTON Esq., Saint John, merchant, as agent for them, and William INNES, or his brother, or in their absence, Arthur DINGWALL Esq. of Saint John, merchant, as their agent, and appoint the aforementioned persons executors. Nephews William and John DONALDSON £400; £100 to each of them and £100 to their brother Robert DONALDSON and £100 to their sister Margaret DONALDSON. William DONALDSON, son of James DONALDSON, or his next brother, £100, and to each of the other sons and daughters £50 each at age 21. William INNES, or his next brother, £100, and to each of the other children of John INNES Esq. by my sister Helen INNES, £50 each at age 21. William and John DONALDSON all furniture and wearing apparel; John DONALDSON my diamond ring. Brother Robert DONALDSON, of my late father's second marriage, lately gone to Grenada, £50. Hugh JOHNSTON and Arthur DINGWALL each 10 guineas. Residue of estate divided among the named legatees. Witnesses: James HAYT and James THOMAS.
