Résumé Parish of St. Andrews, Charlotte County, Esquire. Will dated 28 August 1828, proved 27 April 1829. Wife Elizabeth residue of estate after bequests. Nephew Thomas DUNN's two sons John and James farm known as Joe's Point farm and [Chaffy's] Cove; to John DUNN house and lot occupied by Rev. John CASSELL; to James DUNN farm occupied by Rev. [Mr.] McLEAN; John DUNN £100; James DUNN £800. Nephew's daughter Judith DUNN seven lots of land in St. Andrews, Lot 1 and 5 in Block E, Lots 3, 4, 6, 7 and 8 in Block D in Bulkley's Division. Town Lots 2, 3, 5, 6 and 7 in Block Q, Lots 1, 2 and 7 in Block P in Bulkley's Division, Lot 6 in Block E to my executors, the rents arising from them, £50 Sterling annually, to be paid thusly:— nephew Thomas DUNN £30 and £20 for support of nephew's daughter Eleanor DUNN, provided nephew not be paid if he remains in this Province or any part of North America, or having left, if he ever returns to this Province or any part of North America. Overplus of income to be divided among my nephew's children John, James, Thomas and Judith. Nephew's son Thomas DUNN all property in Parish of St. David; 200 acres granted to me; 100 acres purchased of William VANCE Esq.; Cookson's Island purchased from Harris HATCH Esq.; 4 acres purchased from James BARBER Esq.; 500 acres Parish of St. Patrick purchased from James and David GOSLING. Rector, Church Warden and Vestry of All Saints Church, St. Andrews, £200, the interest to be used for relief of indigent and distressed persons (paupers excepted) of the Parish. Trustees of the Roman Catholic Chapel Lots 4 and 5 in Block Q. Nephew Thomas DUNN £100 Sterling under a certificate from the Minister and Wardens of the Parish in which nephew may settle in the United Kingdom, that he has, for one year, conducted himself soberly and well. Wife Elizabeth DUNN, John CAMPBELL Esq., Rev. Dr. Skiffington THOMSON, Rector of St. Stephen, and John DUNN, so long as he shall have taken full orders in the Church of England, executors. Witnesses: Alfred L. STREET, Joseph CLARKE, James [S.] KEHEO. CODICIL dated 28 August 1828 gives Clergyman officiating at my funeral 5 guineas. Same witnesses. CODICIL dated 20 January 1829 adds Samuel FRYE as an executor. Witnessed by Edward DeWOLFE, John STEELE and James [S.] KEHEO.
