Parish of Wickham, Queens County. Will dated 4 May 1827, proved 24 January 1832. Wife Elisabeth the use of all real and personal estate for life. At her decease lands at Wickham and on Great Musquash Island to sons John and Joseph, Joseph paying my son Edward £100 and John paying his brothers James and George each £25 and to my daughters Rebekah, Mary and Hannah each £20 and to my daughter Betty £40 and to my daughters Martha and Jane each £15. Sons John and Joseph HOLDER executors. Witnesses: Alexander KEVAND, Charles McALPINE, William McALPINE. Inventory, dated 10 January 1832, valued at £855 by Alexander B. McDONALD, Thomas BLIZARD and James HENDRY. On 15 January 1832 Elizabeth HOLDER renounced all right to administration in favour of her sons John and Joseph, stating she was a superannuated person.
