Résumé Nashes Creek, Parish of Beresford, Gloucester County. Will dated 25 April 1834. No record of probate in file. Wife Bridget half of Lot 9 "with the half of all my other property, household goods, debts and moveable effects . . . . after paying half of the burthens that be thereon but if she marray again she shall only retain one third of the land after that peread and at her decees if any of my frends shall come forward her part shall fall to them." Mical(sic) HALEY the other half of Lot 9 with the half of household goods, debts and movable effects after paying half of the burthens that be there on. Five pounds "to the Prest for to say mass for the good of my soul." Mical HALEY sole executor. Witnesses: Robert HERVIE, Paul DEVEREX, Michael DOYLE. CODICIL dated 28 April 1834 stipulates, respecting wife Bridget, that if any disagreement shall take place between her and her brethren and sister in law the said Mical HALEY shall sell her share of the property for her behalf and support. Witnesses: Robert HERVIE, Michael DOYLE, John SHEA. The widow is named as Bridget HALEY alias LYNCH in an instrument executed 3 August 1835 with Michael HALEY. File also contains a Ticket of Possession, dated 14 August 1830, for Lot 9 on Nash's Creek from the Commissioner and Surveyor General of Crown Lands and Forests.
