Résumé No residence cited. Charlotte County records. Intestate. Administration granted 24 January 1825 to the widow Susannah McLACHLAN of St. Andrews. Fellow bondsmen Benjamin M. STYMIST, tanner, and Archibald FINLAY, grocer, St. Andrews. City of Saint John, St. John County, Mariner. Intestate. Administration granted 29 April 1824 to Paul PRINCE, his wife Ann PRINCE and Angus McKENZIE. Fellow bondsmen John T. YOUNGHUSBAND, Thomas ADAMS and John ROBERTSON, all of the City of Saint John. Administration had been previously granted on 23 March 1824 to the widow Margaret McLAUCHLAN, Angus McKENZIE and Paul PRINCE. According to a notice in the New Brunswick Royal Gazette, Mrs. McLAUGHLAN died 31 March. Inventory, dated 1 May 1824, valued the estate at £216 9s., including "The Schooner [unnamed] with all her running rigging, standing rigging," etc., at £175. A listing of items sold at Saint John on 26 April 1825 by John COX covers various items of household furniture, generating a total of £12 16s. and included "1 Maiden 2 shillings." A brief statement of account filed 29 June 1825 commences with a June 1824 entry and continues with the sale of the schooner "Good Intent" for £90.
