Sussex Vale, Kings County. Will dated 16 September 1824, proved 6 July 1825. Wife Anne one full third of all my three Estates as long as she lives and remains my widow. Wife Anne all the furniture, four cows, ten sheep and her horse, saddle and bridle. Sons Robert McMONAGLE, William McMONAGLE and Hugh McMONAGLE "the ansley farm and the dugan Lot" one third to each. Sons John McMONAGLE, Henry McMONAGLE and Joseph McMONAGLE the Leonard farm one third to each. Sons Douglas McMONAGLE and Cornelius McMONAGLE the Snider farm, the Mill and all the premises to the estate now belonging, one half to each, the younger to work for the older until they become of age that is to say William for Robert and Joseph for John at the discretion of their mother. Daughter Eliza McMONAGLE £100 out of the three estates within three years. Daughter Sarah McMONAGLE £100 in like manner. Daughters Eliza and Sarah each £50, their bed and bedding and ten sheep at my decease. Daughter Mary Ann McMONAGLE £100 and ten sheep to be paid by Douglas and Cornelius McMONAGLE when she comes of age. Sons Robert McMONAGLE, Douglas McMONAGLE and my wife Anne McMONAGLE executors. Witnesses: Oliver ARNOLD, William TEAKLES, Robert TEAKLES. Inventory, dated 1 June 1825, valued at £3,416 by John A. VAIL, Samuel FREEZE and Alexander TEAKLES.
