Parish of Maugerville, Sunbury County. Will dated 8 June 1799, proved 13 February 1813. Wife Elizabeth all estate until son William be age 21, viz. January 1806, and afterward, use of half the estate. Sons Israel and Thomas each £20. Sons Solomon and William half my farm in Maugerville and half the stock. They to enter into possession in 1806. After the death of my wife, the entire farm to be divided between them. Land at Gasperoo(sic) River to be divided among four sons. Each daughter to have the value of £15 at age 18, deducting from the two eldest daughters, who are married, the value of what they have already received in household furniture. Brother Oliver PERLEY, David BURPEE, wife Elizabeth PERLEY executors. Witnesses: David INGLES, William SIMPSON, John McNEALL. Administration granted 13 February 1823 to Solomon PERLEY and William PERLEY, the named executors having refused to act.
