Formerly of Falmouth, Cumberland County, Massachusetts, now of St. Andrews, Charlotte County, Esquire. Will dated 19 February 1795, proved 3 March 1796. Wife Elizabeth entire estate while widow, and at her death one-half to daughter Miriam PAGAN. Should she die without issue, her share to descend to Jeremiah Pote WYER and Thomas WYER, sons of daughter Joanna WYER. Remaining half of estate to grandsons Jeremiah Pote and Thomas WYER. Son-in-law Robert PAGAN and Maurice SALT, shipwright, guardians of grandsons until age 21. Wife Elizabeth, Robert PAGAN and Maurice SALT executors. Witnesses: David OWEN, Mary CLAPHAM, Henry Barlow BROWN and Rebecca BROWN (wife of H. B. BROWN and daughter of Mary CLAPHAM).
