Parish of Hopewell, Westmorland County, Husbandman. Will dated 23 October 1817, proved 26 August 1822. Sons Thomas, Nehemiah and Hiram all the lands I have deeded them and 10 shillings each. Joel PASSMORE "on account of his paying a Sum of Money for my Second Son James STEVENS" the sum of £20. Lemuel WRIGHT, the son of my deceased daughter Lucy, £5. Three youngest daughters Eunice, Charlotte and Orinda have a bed and as much household furniture as my other daughters each had when they married.
