Abstract City of Saint John, St. John County, Taylor. Will dated 7 July 1818, proved 11 August 1818. Wife Margarett BAYLEY use of my dwelling and premises on Prince William Street while widow. If she marry she to have the use of only one-third of my dwelling for life. Wife Margarett all household furniture. Executors to sell my new house, at this time unfinished, in Union Street. Residue of estate to be held by executors in trust for my children James BAYLEY and Mary Ann BAYLEY until they attain age 21. Wife Margarett BAYLEY, father William BAYLEY and Henry CHUBB executors. Witnesses: Bartholomew [HAINS], John YOUNG, Gilbert W. POST, William BAYLEY. Accounting of estate filed 3 August 1820 by Henry CHUBB was notated that the executrix, Margaret BAYLEY, was dead and the other executor, William BAYLEY, was residing in Nova Scotia.
