Will dated 18 March 1795 at Saint John, proved 20 October 1798 at Saint John, Record Book A, pages 119-122, probated in Sunbury County 1 November 1798, Record Book A, pages 48-54. Brother Joseph the one-third of the real estate formerly belonging to deceased brother John. Sister Sarah ALLISON all real and personal estate for her better support during her widowhood. The estate to pass to brother Joseph on her death or remarriage. If Joseph leave no lawful heirs, one-half the estate to pass at his death to John LANGDON of Long Island and his heirs, the other half to be divided between Samuel CLOWES Junr. and Gerhardus CLOWES, both of Long Island. Friend Col. DePEYSTER my bay filly that is at my farm in Maugerville. Col. Abraham DePEYSTER, Thomas HORSFIELD, Richard CARMAN, executors. Witnesses: Thomas REID, Charles MacPHERSON, Titus KNAPP.
