Abstract No residence cited. St. John County records. Intestate. On 29 October 1822 William B. KINNEAR petitioned that John DINGLE took passage on Board the "Blucher" for this place about two months ago; that he was missing on the Voyage and has not been since heard of and is supposed to have been drowned; that "there being no next of Kin in this Province to the best of Your Petitioner's knowledge, He Prays Your Honor to Grant him Letters of Administration upon the Goods and chattels of which the said John DINGLE died possessed, now on Board the said Vessel, the 'Blucher' . . . ." Administration granted 11 Nov. 1822 to William B. KINNEAR Esq. Fellow bondsmen John KINNEAR and George PIDGEON, merchants, all of the City of Saint John.
