Parish of Fredericton, York County. Will dated 20 February 1824, proved 8 February 1825. Brother William GROSVENOR and sister Elizabeth HOMER each £50. Daughter Mary £50 to defray expense of her education. Wife Elizabeth to reside in my house with an annuity of £50 for her own use and a further £20 to maintain the house in lieu of dower. Residue of estate to be divided among children Hannah, Maria, William, Elizabeth, Samuel Fraser (may be one or two persons?), Mary, Charles and George "and such other my Children as shall hereafter be born to me of my said wife." Each child to receive their portion at age 21 or at marriage. Daughter Hannah's share to be reduced £300, a sum advanced to her present husband, Sherlock PARSONS. Son William additional £300. Robert PAYNE £400, to be deducted from his bond to me dated 14 July 1823. Appointed wife Elizabeth, George BEST, Rector of Christ Church in Fredericton, and Robert PAYNE, of Saint John, Guardians of the minor children.
