Abstract Parish of St. Andrews, Charlotte County, Merchant. Will dated 22 November 1832, proved 28 January 1833. Pay debts: John SHEA, St. John's, Newfoundland, son of late Henry SHEA Esq., now editor to the "Newfoundlander," £35; Patrick MORRIS Esq., St. John's, Nfld., £15; Jeffery PARDER, Halifax, about £20; John [HARVEY] about £40. Herman FAY's account to be requested; amount not known. Wife Hannah residue of estate, but she not to dispose without consent of daughter Mary LONERGAN alias HARVEY, Halifax, N.S. Wife Hannah sole Executrix. Witnesses: William C. McSTAY, John CUMMINGS. CODICIL dated 11 December 1832 provided a bequest of £10 to the Roman Catholic Church, St. Andrews. Witnessed by John CUMMINGS and James DRISCOLL. Four page inventory, dated 28 April 1833, valued at £595 by James BOYD, Thomas BERRY and Thomas CARROLL included some £98 in miscellaneous receivables, among them £2 from the Chamber of Commerce.
