Abstract File contains only a letter dated "Court House, Dorchester, 8 June 1813," written by William BOTSFORD to Thomas PETERS, introducing Lockwood BAXTER, a resident of Amherst, "an heir and cousin to Jonathan LOUGHBERRY lately deceased." The writer stated that BAXTER's mother and LOUGHBERRY's mother were sisters, both daughters of Francis [BARDY or BANLY] formerly of Philips(sic) Manor, New York State. The New Brunswick Royal Gazette, issue of 9 March 1812, noted administration on the estate of Jonathan LUFBURY, Miramichi, had been granted to Francis PEABODY, John CLARK and Richard SIMONDS on 15 February. Perhaps the same person.
