Abstract Trafalgar, Parish of Northampton, York County, Gentleman. Will, signed "W. McGLAUGHLIN," dated 24 July 1827, proved 4 October 1827. To be buried on the North-east side of my Daughter's grave in the family burying ground on my Estate where I reside, being the same lands which were granted to me by the Crown for my services in the British Army. Wife Elizabeth her maintenance if she survive me. Son William McLAUGHLIN(sic) of New York the tract of land commonly called the WILSON Lot, 200 acres, and 100 acres purchased from Jesse CREEKMORE. Son John Simcoe McLAUGHLIN the Lot where I reside and all personal estate, he to convey to his brother William the tract of land called the HARTT Lot in Northampton or to pay William £200. Niece Ann McDONALD £15 to be paid by my son William. Niece Elizabeth SANBORNE £15 to be paid by my son John Simcoe. Son John Simcoe McGLAUGHLIN, Jacob ALLEN Esq. of Clarence in the County of York, and Robert SANBORNE of Northampton executors. Witnesses: Thomas McCORQUINDALE, William TOVEY, Thomas R. MACAULIFF.
