Abstract Parish of Saint Mary's, York County. Will dated 11 October 1817, proved 15 September 1818. Wife Agnes, as long as she is widow, and eldest daughter Catharine entire estate until youngest child age 12, at which time estate to be distributed. Wife Agnes her maintenance. Eldest son Alexander three shares. Eldest daughter Catharine and second son Patrick each two shares. Daughters Betsy, Peggy, Jennet and Mary Ann each one share. In case any of the children become disobedient and ungovernable by the executors, their share shall be forfeited. Wife Agnes and daughter Catharine executors. Witnesses: William A. STERLING, Hugh SUTHERLAND, Angus McBEAN. Daughter Catharine was unmarried at time will proved.
