Abstract City of Saint John, St. John County. Will dated 8 June 1813, proved 10 January 1815. Wife Margaret WHITNEY, James GRIGOR and Henry GARDNER guardians "for my Children & administrators to my Estate to see them Virtuously broat up to the Inglish Church and sensibly Educated accordingly out of my Estate untill they are of adge." One-third of estate to wife Margaret for life and at her death to my children "as Shee pleasses," the remaining two-thirds divided among children, sons Samuel, Charles and James and daughter Charlotte. Witnesses: Henry CHUBB, Gabriel F. MOTT, John YOUNGHUSBAND.
