City of Saint John, St. John County, Taylor. Intestate. The widow, Charlotte McCALIFF, petitioned for administration of the estate on 9 November 1815. Henry GARDNER, baker, of the City of Saint John, a principal creditor, appeared and denied that Charlotte McCALIFF was widow of the deceased or legally entitled to administration. GARDNER requested administration as the deceased had left no widow or next of kin direct to him who claims the same. By agreement of both parties, administration was granted 23 November 1815 to Rev. Oliver ARNOLD and George MORTON Esq. of the Parish of Sussex, Kings County, and John WATERBURY of Saint John. Fellow bondsmen Walker TISDALE, Samuel WIGGINS and Henry GARDNER, all of City of Saint John.
