Résumé Parish of Hopewell, Westmorland County. Will dated 6 September 1834, proved 8 April 1835. Wife Olive all real and personal estate, excepting my blacksmith shop and tools, for life. Daughter Olive, to descend to her oldest male heir, the land where I reside, three acres of dyke land on the New Dyke joining a piece which I purpose to dispose of to Mr. REDPATH, and adjoining Ezra BISHOP, and five acres of woodland, being part of the lot purchased from the late Bradbrey ROBINSON adjoining the New Horton Road. Daughter Rebecca, to descend to her oldest male heir, a piece of upland, three acres of dyke land and five acres of woodland, all adjoining those lots willed to daughter Olive. Daughter Mary, to descend to her oldest male heir, a piece of upland, four acres of dyke land and five acres of woodland, all adjoining lots willed to daughter Rebecca. Grandson John ELLIOT four acres of upland adjoining William ROBINSON and two acres of dyke land adjoining land willed to daughter Mary. Son James PASSMORE, to descend to his oldest male heir, the remainder of my upland, dyke land and woodland. Hamilton REDPATH and Charles ANDERSON executors.
