Parish of Sackville, Westmorland County, Yeoman. Will dated 18 January 1825, proved 1 September 1830.
Wife Abigail use of the front room and bed room now occupied by us and situated at Northwest End of the dwelling House where I now reside, together with the Chamber in the Northwest End of Said House, one half the cellar under the house, one cow, the free use of a horse, and to be annually provided with ten bushels wheat, five bushels buckwheat, 56 pounds brown sugar, six pounds Souchong tea, 100 pounds beef, 200 pounds pork and £5 currency during her life. Sons Daniel WHATON and Benjamin WHATON each £200 to be paid to them £12 10s. yearly for ten years and £25 yearly thereafter. Daughters Mary FINNY, Charity KAY, Milleson EALS, Jemmima MAXWELL and Martha CORNWELL each £50 in ten yearly payments. Sons Thomas WHATON and David WHATON the residue of real and personal estate.

On 22 January 1831 Martha WHATON, widow and administratrix of David WHATON, and Thomas WHATON gave a receipt to William FAWCETT and William FAWCETT Junr. as surviving executors of the estate for personal property received by Thomas WHATON and David WHATON to the value of £179 15s. 6d.
