We regret to learn that in an attempt to extinguish the fire by which Chipman's Buildings, St. Stephen (Charlotte Co.) were destroyed, William ANDREWS was killed and Marcus UPTON had his arm broken. Mr. ANDREWS was killed by the falling of a chimney. He was one of the old stock of settlers of St. Stephen; left wife and two children.
