Yesterday Coroner Earle held an inquest on the body of Daniel McKEE drowned in the harbor Saturday night. The jury composed of Geo. H. MARTIN, foreman, J.R. KNOWLES, Samuel SMITH, H.K. CHITTICK, A.G. WILLS, John EARLE and Robert MASON The witnesses examined were Thomas ELLIS, who testified that McKee had been born in Scotland and brought up in Ireland. Wm SMITH who described the actions of McKee in the Carleton too house a short time before the drowning and Thomas GALLAGHER who told of finding the body.
