On Wednesday eve. last, Michael TOLE was struck on the back of the head by a heavy wooden bar in the hands of George BLAIR. He remained unconscious until the following day when he showed signs of recovery and on that eve. about 6 o'clock, was removed from John DOYLE's, Carmarthen St. (St. John) where he was first taken, to his father's at the foot of Germain St. (St. John) Yesterday he grew rapidly worse and died at 2 p.m. Coroner Earl summoned a jury at half past 4 they viewed the body when they adjourned until 3 o'clock this afternoon to meet at the Dead House.
