The death of Lewis McANN occurred at Havelock (Kings Co.) Thursday morn. after a short illness of paralysis of the brain. Mr. McAnn, who was 76 years of age, has been failing the last month or so but did not take to his bed until Sundayu last. Deceased was born in Omagh, Tyrone Co., Ireland and came to this country in 1836 with his mother, two sisters and one brother. The brother, who survives him, is Rev. Isaac McANN, Principal of the Boydton Theological Institute, Boydton, Virginia. Mrs. McAnn and five sons, Geo, B. McANN of Petitcodiac, Ezekiel B. McANN and L.W. McANN of Moncton, J.A. McANN of Rhode Island and C.W. McANN of Kalso, B.C. Mr. McAnn has lived in Kings Co. ever since leaving his native land and occupied the place on which he died for the last 20 years. The funeral takes place this afternoon 2 o'clock, interment taking place at the Free Baptist burying ground at Petitcodiac.
