The man Cochrane, whoi with his team was killed on the I.C.R. Saturday, was Guilford COCHRANE s/o Thomas COCHRANE of Lewis Mountain (not Lute's Mountain as reported) and was 24 years of age. The accident took place a mile or two west of Salisbury (West. Co.) where there is a bad crossing, deep cutting and bushes beside the road, rendering it imposssible for a person to see the train until too late. The body was taken to Petitcodiac and the parents, who were getting ready to attend a tea meeting at Wheaton Settlement, notified. The inquest was held Monday by Coroner Dr. McDonald.
