Yesterday forenoon, about half past 11 o'clock, while a number of men were engaged in excavating an embankment at Clarke's mill, Carleton (St. John) the bank suddenly caved in, a mass of solid earth falling on two men, killing one instantly. The unfortunate man who was so suddenly ushered into eternity was a native of Copenhagen, Denmark and had been in the city almost eight months. His name was Harold LUNN, 21 years of age, unmarried. He boarded with Henry HOWARD of Carleton. A wounded man Joseph NEELY of Carleton was conveyed to Public Hospital. Evidences given by Oliver LYMAN, James BRITAIN, Benjamin KIERSTEAD (see original)
