Philip BOURGEOIS, an employee of McManus Bros, Memramcook (West. Co.), while working in the lumber woods, met with an accident on Friday that resulted in death. He was felling a tree, when falling it bounced back striking him on the side and swiftly throing him against the stump. His collar bone was broken and his shoulder bone knocked out of joint, besides serious internal injuries. His fellow workmen carried him to a house nearby and summoned medical aid. He suffered intensely until Saturday morn. when death relieved him. Bourgeois leaves a wife and family of nine children, the eldest being 15 years old.
